Jessica Hart is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Supervisor with extensive experience in chemical health and co-occurring disorder treatment. She graduated summa cum laude from Argosy University in 2017 with a BA in Psychology, specializing in substance abuse and addictions. Jess embarked on her career in 2014 as a Chemical Dependency Technician at Pride Institute, later completing her internship at Haven Chemical Health in 2017, the same year she earned her LADC licensure.
Over the next few years, Jessica served as a primary counselor for men in the Intensive Outpatient Program at NorthStar Regional before being promoted to Program Director of the Women’s Residential Treatment Facility in Chaska in 2020, where she dedicated 4.5 years of her career.
As someone in long-term recovery herself since 2012, Jess brings invaluable personal experience to her role as a chemical health professional. Her journey inspired her to become an advocate, supporting others on their recovery paths. She actively participates in a 12-step fellowship and volunteers her time by leading meetings at Shakopee Women’s Prison and within treatment populations.
At Heritage Treatment Link, Jess’s philosophy centers on creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard and assisted in learning effective coping strategies for addiction and mental health challenges, all delivered with compassion and empathy, free from judgment.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys quality time with her family, especially her dogs, Loki and Rosie. She also loves riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle and prioritizing self-care at her local gym. Jess expresses gratitude for the life recovery has afforded her and cherishes the opportunity to witness the transformative power of recovery in the lives of others each day.
