I have been in recovery for over three years after struggling with a 30-year battle against addiction to heroin and meth. My journey was marked by significant challenges, including five suicide attempts, six accidental overdoses, more than 30 inpatient treatments, and four stints in prison. I carried the weight of unaddressed trauma, along with shame and guilt that often felt overwhelming.
In recovery, I discovered that I was not alone. I learned to confront and process my trauma without relying on substances. This experience ignited my passion for supporting others on their recovery journey. I am dedicated to helping individuals break free from the barriers that hinder their progress. By staying active in the recovery community and assisting others, I find healing and growth alongside them as they transform into remarkable individuals.
I am also pursuing my LADC degree and aspire to open my own sober housing facility in the future, allowing me to continue my mission of helping others find their path to recovery.
